We work throughout the Northeast Ohio or Cleveland area. Generally, we go as far west as Vermilion and as far east at Mentor. We will travel south to Medina and Hudson / Fairlawn.
On most interior projects (generally projects greater than $2,000) we provide a Lifetime Touch-Up Promise. We are the only company in the Cleveland area to do this. As part of our Lifetime Touch-Up Promise, we are willing to come to your home every winter to do up to one hour of touch-ups at no cost. This is especially great for homeowners with kids or pets for reasons that should be pretty obvious! =D
On most wood homes, we provide our Four Year Worry-Free Guarantee. This means every spring for the next four years, we will send one of our team members to your home to do an inspection on the areas on the outside of the home that we painted. If anything is peeling or failing, we will fix that at no cost to you.
On aluminum and vinyl siding homes, we provide a full Ten Year warranty covering labor and materials.
We do not provide a warranty on horizontal surfaces like porch floors or decks.
No, we are not. We understand that our name can cause this confusion. The name “Textbook” comes from the idea of a standard example. For example “They were so nice and helpful! What an example of textbook customer service!” We hire full-time, professional painters who work for us year round. We do hire a few local college students each summer to work on exterior crews as well. We also have a professional management team and office staff to ensure we provide “textbook customer service”!
For most projects, between two and four painters will work on the site. This is a standard crew size for us. On some projects we may have more than one crew and for small projects and Painter For A Day projects, only one painter may be necessary.

Yes! We provide free estimates for all of our services. Most in-home estimates take less than an hour for us to review the scope of work, explain our process, calculate the price and review the proposal with you. For some services, like kitchen cabinet painting, we can provide you with a quote from photos.
Yes, absolutely! Sometimes the cost to paint a bathroom vanity can be a little high because of the amount of set up and clean up. The set up on a bathroom vanity is not that much less than for an entire kitchen.
We are the only company in the Cleveland area to provide a Lifetime Touch-up Promise! This means we will touch-up any nicks, scuffs and normal wear and tear for as long as you live in the home.
For a smaller interior painting project, we do offer a Painter For A Day service. This means we will send one of our professional painters to your home for up to an eight hour day. They can do touch-up painting or paint a small area or two. This is especially great when the work is not very easily defined (such as painting a little bit in a handful of rooms).
For exterior projects we do have a $1,000 minimum project size because our crew sizes are a little larger for our exterior painting teams.
Yes, absolutely. This is actually a pretty common service for us but many homeowners don’t realize that vinyl siding can be painted. Typically after about 15 years or even sooner, the color of your vinyl siding will be significantly faded. We provide a full 10-year warranty on vinyl siding and the process is usually less expensive than most homeowners imagine.
Yes, you can but you do have to ensure that the correct masonry primer is used otherwise you an have issues with moisture being trapped in the brick.
Yes, we can definitely help and we take a lot of pride in making this easy for our clients. On most of our projects, we will provide a complimentary color consultation with one of our Interior Decorators. We can also paint out samples, provide color decks to review and order large sample cards. There are even online tools like color visualizers that we can use to ‘virtually paint’ your house or room.
Definitely! We do this quite a bit and it is a relatively inexpensive way to really upgrade the look of your kitchen cabinets. We can also add a light rail to the bottom of the upper cabinets and we can build out trim on the island with wainscoting or beadboard, etc.
Yes. We are licensed with the appropriate agencies and we have at least $1,000,000 of liability insurance and full worker’s compensation. It is vitally important that we have these to protect your as a homeowner or business owner.
