What you'll be doing:

  • Independently completing interior and exterior painting scopes with minimal oversight
  • Prepping surfaces including scraping, sanding, caulking, taping, and masking
  • Selecting and applying the right products and techniques for each surface
  • Maintaining tools, equipment, and a clean, organized job site
  • Supporting apprentices and newer team members by leading by example
  • Following all safety protocols including PPE use and lead-safe work practices

Sales Estimator

Textbook Painting is looking for a Sales Estimator to join our growing team in the Greater Cleveland area. This is a full-time, commission-based role for someone who thrives in the field, owns their schedule, and is motivated by results. You’ll be the first face customers see when they consider trusting us with their home — and that matters to us.

You won’t be sitting behind a desk. Most of your time is spent meeting with homeowners, walking properties, and presenting estimates. We’ll train you on our process, our products, and our estimating software — but we need someone who already knows how to earn a customer’s trust and close.

What you'll be doing:

  • Meeting with homeowners and business owners to understand their vision and scope of work
  • Preparing and presenting detailed estimates using our PaintScout estimating software
  • Closing contracts and managing follow-up through our Pipedrive CRM
  • Building a referral network through community involvement, BNI, and strategic relationships
  • Collaborating with the production team to ensure a smooth handoff on every project
  • Attending weekly one-on-ones with the Sales Manager and group sales training sessions
