We’re proud to share that Textbook Painting has been named to Miami University’s 2026 RedHawk50. This is a list of the fastest-growing companies founded or led by Miami alumni. This year we ranked No. 33 with 27.72% growth. It’s also the third time we’ve made the list, after being honored in 2023 (No. 26) and 2024 (No. 43).
Our founder, Michael Murray, started Textbook Painting in 2006 right after graduating from Miami University. Twenty years later, we’re still Northeast Ohio’s highest-rated and largest residential painting company, backed by our Lifetime Touch-Up Promise.

The 2026 RedHawk50 class includes 50 companies selected from more than 300 nominations. It spans 33 regions and represents $2.9 billion in combined annual revenue. The program is run by Miami’s Farmer School of Business and the John W. Altman Institute for Entrepreneurship. Being named to it three times means a lot to our team. It reflects the growth we’ve seen here in Cleveland and across Northeast Ohio, and the trust our customers have put in us along the way.
